I’ve not hidden the fact we have been on holiday recently, if you also follow me on any social media network no doubt you’ve seen a few pictures of what myself and Mrs B wore while we were away. I won’t bore you with the same old crazy holiday shirts I wore, as ever it’s more about her and how beautiful she looked every day. Each night she looked as glamorous as ever, probably too much for Turkey but I liked it, in different dresses, skirts and outfits we’d purposely picked out for the holiday. Continue reading
We’ve got another great giveaway this week, this time it’s two fantastic outfits from TheHut.com. We use this website all the time for buying clothes lately, they’ve got a massive range of brands and are reasonably priced too.
Mrs B and I have done our best modelling efforts and everything you see below is available in one of the two giveaways, either mens or womens.
When it comes to makeup secrets, I am finding out new ones every day. As a beauty blogger I am forever introduced to innovative new products to make my life easier and the price of decent makeup products is falling. As makeup concepts become more advanced, the need to use an expensive brand to get a good result is dropping. Here are my top picks for budget/affordable beauty:
Makeup Secrets Prep
As much as makeup is our saviour on a bad skin day, a clean face is a must when applying makeup. I am a lifelong fan of Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser which, isn’t the cheapest at £14.75, but does include the muslin cloth. It also removes the need for an exfoliator, as the cloth does this for you, and this is gentle enough to use on the eyes so no added makeup remover needed either. Probably worth that £14.75 now?
A nice short and sharp post; we’ve been introduced to a lovely fashion website & shop in Scarlett Fashion. I’ve always said how much I like little independent shops, I like the care & love you usually get with them, they stock things they love themselves and take great pride in their shops, be it online or offline.
They’ve such a great range of clothes and styles, at really affordable prices, you could happily and economically go on a mini shopping spree without breaking the bank. Pretty summer dresses, jeans & leggings, as well as enough handbags & accessories to fill a very large dancefloor!
We were able to pick up this lovely Yumi top for her, I think you’ll agree it suits her. There were a few options of tops she liked, as well as other clothes, so I think another visit to the website or even up to the shop may be in order! When picking it out, we were told to go for a bigger size as it’s small fitting, so Mrs B is wearing a size 14, which you’ll agree suits her figure perfectly. Continue reading
Yet another great guest post, but this time the first one on your must-have wardrobe items, this time from Becki – enjoy!
If you’re anything like me and your wardrobe is crammed full of random bargain buys and clothes that don’t fit (and have never fit), then perhaps it’s time for us to sit down and have a good old sort out. However, we all know how daunting that is without a plan of action. At the change of every season I like to look at the items which I have worn the most and formulate some kind of ‘essentials’ list – things I simply must have. Eventually my plan is to have a well organised, structured wardrobe with a few key designer pieces amongst good quality, wearable clothes. Continue reading
